James Drew & Associates supplies professional building surveying and architectural services from a base in the West of Ireland offering a nationwide service. James Drew MSCSI MRICS MBEng has gained unique experience in the construction and property sector working upon major commercial developments. glazed-cladding1James spent 20 years in the UK where he gained particular expertise investigating defects and designing remedial works for them. James has been practicing in Ireland since 2000 and has since enjoyed participation in numerous high profile developments. This included the successful administration of The Glasshouse Hotel construction in Sligo. This development was a complex and challenging design and James was instrumental ensuring the technical success of the facade designs.

James established his own practice in his local town of Ballymote, Co. Sligo in 2007. James is registered in Ireland as a Building Surveyor in accordance with the Building Control Act 2007. He has been trained in conciliation for construction disputes and is included in the Mediator/Conciliator Panel of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI). He is an assessor with the SCSI for assessment of professional competence for prospective chartered building surveyors. He is Vice-Chair to the western region of SCIS.
